Easiest way around that is to do a format c: in dos followed by installing lInux you'll find you won't have to spend all day installing the correct fonts then

incidentally can I search cds using olex?
how would I set that up?

Yes you can - try doing a search on the forum for olexcds.py (
search.php?keywords=olexcds.py) and having a read of the information there. You need a CDS account to use it and a bit of setup [copy, paste and editing]. If you get stuck POST INTO THE APPROPRIATE threads not back in here. There is NO GUI either. LOL

Thanks John. These slides are not random but very, very useful. Great to have an in-house database of unit cells.
