Topas and PANalytical XRD?

Postby puklen » 14 Feb 2011, 15:08

Dear colleagues,
As we are thinking of replacing our Bruker XRD with a PANalytical one, I am just wondering if you can use PANalytical output files with TOPAS.
I'm grateful for your help.

Liverpool has been using academic topas with PAN data for a while they have just got two new Bruker machines and commercial topas.

In short yes.

Hi Sleybell,

Our XRD has not been replaced yet. I was just wondering if PANalytical XRD files are compatible with Topas.
Anyone out there who is happier with a Bruker D8 than with a PANalytical X'Pert Powder?
Cheers, Puklen
